For cleaning services ยท Paid ads
Paid ads for cleaning companies.
Ads can fill a new cleaning route fast. They can also fill your schedule with one-time jobs that never come back. What you advertise decides which of those you get.

The cleaning company version
Why it matters.
Search ads for move-out cleaning catch people on a deadline: the lease ends Friday and the place has to be spotless. Those leads book quickly but rarely become recurring. Ads aimed at recurring service bring slower, smaller first jobs that can turn into years of revenue. Neither is wrong. Pick on purpose, and make the landing page match what the ad promised.
Ads also only work if the destination does. A click that lands on a home page with no prices, no faces and a form that never answers is money paid to a platform for a visitor who leaves. If the page is not ready, I fix it first or I do not start the campaign.
What I would build
For a cleaning company.
Separate campaigns for move-out, deep cleaning, recurring and office cleaning, each with its own keywords and budget cap, so one hungry category does not eat the whole budget.
The move-out ad lands on a move-out page that explains what is included and books the job. Built for the ad, not your home page, so the visitor finds exactly what they clicked for.
I measure what a booked clean cost, and which ads produced clients who stayed. Clicks and impressions are not the goal here. Recurring clients are.
When your team is booked out, the ads pause. Paying for leads you cannot schedule just teaches people that you never get back to them.
The mistake I see
Running ads before the reviews are ready
A cleaning ad sends a stranger to your profile, and the profile has a handful of reviews, some of them old. The stranger clicks the next ad. Cleaning is a trust purchase, and ads amplify whatever the buyer finds when they check you. Build the review base and the landing page first, then spend money sending people to them.
What you get
Paid ads.
Ads amplify whatever is already there. If the page does not convert, ads make you lose money faster.
- Search and call-only campaigns for people already looking
- Retargeting for the ones who bounced
- Landing pages built for the ad, not the home page
- Call tracking so you know what a booked job cost
- A pause rule for when you are booked out

Questions
What cleaning services ask.
Should I run Local Services Ads?
They can work for cleaning, and the badge helps with a trust-heavy purchase. The screening has its own requirements, and leads are charged differently from search ads. Treat them as one channel to test, not a replacement for a solid profile and website. I would look at your reviews and coverage area before recommending it.
Is Facebook or Google better for cleaning ads?
Google catches people already searching, which suits move-outs and deep cleans with a deadline. Facebook and Instagram reach people who were not looking yet, which can work for a recurring offer with a clear first-clean price. Start with search if budget is tight. Add retargeting once you know your page converts.
Can ads fill a new route in one area?
That is one of the better uses. A tight radius around the streets you already clean, with an offer that fits your route schedule, adds clients where your team already drives. Scattered clients across the county cost you in travel time. Ads let you choose where new clients come from, which organic search does not.
