For cleaning services ยท Content design

Content design for cleaning companies.

The checklist you leave behind, the welcome sheet for a new client, the door hanger for the street you already clean. Small pieces of paper and pixels that make you look organized.

The cleaning company version

Why it matters.

A new client's first visit is anxious for both sides. They do not know what to put away, whether to be home, or what the team will skip. A designed welcome sheet answers all of it before the cleaner walks in. Then the card left on the counter after each clean, listing what was done, turns invisible work into something the client can actually see.

Commercial proposals benefit just as much. A facilities manager comparing bids notices the one with a clear scope sheet and a clean layout. Maybe you already post your own content and dread making it look good. That is exactly the gap content design fills.

What I would build

For a cleaning company.

01Welcome sheet and first-visit guide

What to expect, how to prepare, how to reach the office, what you clean and what you do not. Designed in your brand and printable, so every new client gets the same clear start.

02Leave-behind cards and checklists

A card or sheet left after each clean, noting the work done and anything the cleaner spotted. Designed as a template your team fills in, so it looks finished every time.

03Post templates you can reuse

Graphics for team spotlights, seasonal reminders and service announcements, built so you can swap the photo and text yourself without breaking the layout or calling me.

04Print for the streets you already work

Door hangers for the neighbors of homes you clean every week, and flyers for office lobbies. Print collateral sized and ready for the printer, delivered as finished files.

The mistake I see

Leaving nothing behind after the clean

Cleaning is the one service where great work erases its own evidence. The client comes home, everything looks normal, and they cannot quite remember what changed. Without a note, a checklist or a quick text, they start wondering what they are paying for. Companies that leave something behind remind clients of the value on every single visit.

How it goes

For a cleaning company, step by step.

→ Keep scrolling. It moves sideways.

  1. Set the templates

So everything after this is fast and consistent.

  2. Agree a batch

Monthly or per campaign, whichever suits how you work.

  3. Make it

Delivered as finished files, sized for where they are going.

  4. You publish

On your schedule, from your accounts.

  5. Step five is you.

The free Receipt shows what your cleaning company should fix first. About half a minute, no card.

Questions

What cleaning services ask.

Is a leave-behind card worth printing?

For recurring residential clients, usually yes. It costs little per visit and answers the quiet question every client has about what got done today. Some companies prefer a text with the same checklist. Either works. The point is that the client sees the effort, because a clean house does not explain itself.

Can I use these templates in Canva?

I can build them where you already work, so if Canva is your tool, the templates live there. You get files you can edit without me, which is the whole point. If you would rather never touch them, a monthly batch of finished graphics works too.

Do you design commercial proposals?

I design the layout and template, so every proposal you send has a consistent cover, scope section and pricing page. You or your office manager fill in each one. Writing the scope itself for a specific building is your expertise, and I would not pretend otherwise.

What comes after

Pairs well with.
