For chiropractors ยท AI & automation
Chiropractic automation that keeps the schedule full.
Care plans fall apart one missed visit at a time. Reminders, rebooking nudges and review requests keep patients on the schedule they agreed to, without leaking health details by text.

You vs. Joe Blow Chiropractic.
Left is what a missed call does to you today. Right is Joe Blow Chiropractic and their voicemail. Drag the line, then hit the button.
Crickets on the left. That is the problem.
They called the next name.
"Hi, you have reached Joe Blow Chiropractic. Please leave a message after the beep."

What you are paying for
AI & automation.
Follow-up, reminders, review requests, intake, reporting. The parts everybody means to do and drops when it gets busy.
- Missed-call text back, inside a minute
- Appointment reminders and confirmations
- Quote follow-up that stops the moment they reply
- Review requests sent after every job, with unhappy customers flagged to you first
- Failed-payment recovery for anything recurring
- Failure alerts, so a broken automation announces itself

What I would build
For a chiropractic practice.
Appointment reminders and confirmations by text and email, with a simple reply to confirm or reschedule. No condition, treatment or provider notes in the message, only the time and place.
A follow-up when a patient misses a visit or leaves without booking the next one. It stops the moment they reply or book, and it reads as a friendly scheduling note, not a clinical warning.
Missed-call text back inside a minute while you are with a patient. The text offers the booking link and a callback, without asking the caller to describe their problem over SMS.
A review request after visits, the same ask for every patient, with a private line to the office for anyone who has a concern. Failure alerts on every automation, so a broken sequence announces itself.
The chiropractic practice version
Why it matters.
A patient agrees to a plan, comes in for a few visits, feels a bit better and misses one. Nobody calls because the front desk is checking in the next patient. A few weeks later they are off the schedule entirely. Automation catches that moment: a confirmation before each visit, a rebooking text when one is missed, and a check-in if no next visit is booked.
Every message has to be written as if someone else will read it, because sometimes someone will. A shared family phone, a work email, a lock screen. Reminders say your appointment is Tuesday afternoon at our office, and nothing about why. Any tool that stores patient information needs a business associate agreement in place.
The mistake I see
Sending reminders that name the problem
A text reading time for your lower back adjustment looks friendly and personal. It is also a health detail sent to a device you do not control. Reminders, recall messages and review requests all need neutral wording. It feels less personal, but the patient's privacy is part of their care, and their trust in you depends on it.
How it goes

Find the leaks
Usually inquiries after hours and quotes nobody chased twice.
Build one at a time
Tested with real data before it touches a customer.
Add the safety net
Every automation gets a failure notification. Silent failure is the real risk.

Questions
What chiropractors ask.
Is texting patients allowed under HIPAA?
Appointment reminders by text are common and generally workable when the message holds minimal information, patients have agreed to receive texts, and the tool is covered by a business associate agreement. The safer rule is simple: nothing clinical by text. If you are unsure about your setup, confirm with your compliance advisor before anything goes live.
Will this work with our practice management software?
It can often connect for appointment data, through a direct integration or a sync. I check what your system can share and whether the connection keeps patient data inside covered tools before building. If your software already sends reminders well, I leave that alone and build what is missing.
Can automation ask patients to stick to their care plan?
It can remind them of scheduled visits and invite them to book the next one. It should not tell anyone what their body needs or warn them about the consequences of stopping. Clinical conversations about care belong with you, in person. The automation keeps the calendar honest and leaves the medical judgment to you.
