For law firms ยท Websites & funnels

Law firm websites built around intake.

Your website has one job plenty of firms ignore: turning a stressed stranger into a booked consultation before they call the next firm on the list.

The law firm version

Why it matters.

A man arrested for OUI on Saturday night gets home and searches on his phone Sunday morning. He wants to know if you handle it, what happens at arraignment, and how to reach someone today. If your site makes him dig through a firm history and a mission statement to find a phone number, he is gone. Mobile-first is not a design trend for a law firm. It is where your clients are when they need you.

I build in GoHighLevel so the site, forms, calendar and follow-up are one system. A consult request creates a contact, sends an immediate acknowledgement, and lands in front of whoever handles intake. Missed calls get a text back. Tracking shows which practice-area page produced the matter, so you know what to build more of.

What I would build

For a law firm.

01One page per practice area

Estate planning, probate, real estate, family law, each with its own page explaining the process in plain language and what the first meeting covers. No single page trying to do everything at once.

02Intake forms that ask the right things first

Names, the other party, matter type and contact details, with a clear notice that submitting the form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Enough to run conflicts. Not an invitation to send the whole story.

03Consult booking on real availability

A booking calendar wired to the actual intake schedule, so a prospect can grab a consult slot at night instead of waiting for the office to open. You decide which matter types can book themselves.

04Tracking to the matter, not the click

Every form and call is tagged with the page that produced it. Over time you see which practice areas the site actually feeds and which pages are dead weight worth cutting or rewriting.

The mistake I see

A homepage that is really an attorney biography

Bios matter, but a prospect lands on your site with a problem, not curiosity about your law school. When the homepage leads with the founding partner's credentials and buries the practice areas, the visitor has to work to find out whether you can help. Lead with what you handle. Put the bios one click away, where the people who care will find them.

What you get

Websites & funnels.

Built in GoHighLevel so your site, forms, calendar, texts and follow-up are one system instead of five tools taped together.

  • Mobile-first pages, because that is where your customer is standing
  • Booking calendar wired to your real availability
  • Forms that create a contact and fire a reply immediately
  • Missed-call text back
  • Tracking so you know which page produced the inquiry
Price. A full rebuild starts at $3,998 ($1,999 to start, $1,999 at completion). Single fixes start at $499.

How it goes

For a law firm, step by step.

→ Keep scrolling. It moves sideways.

  1. Map the path

What somebody does between finding you and booking. Usually shorter than people expect.

  2. Build the pages

One page per service, one per town you serve. Not one page trying to do everything.

  3. Wire the follow-up

Auto-acknowledgement, reminders, and the sequence that runs when nobody replies.

  4. Test it on a phone

On mobile data, not office wifi. That is the real condition.

  5. Step five is you.

The free Receipt shows what your law firm should fix first. About half a minute, no card.

Questions

What law firms ask.

Should every attorney have their own page?

Yes, and each one should link to the practice areas that attorney handles. Prospects often want to see who they will actually be working with before booking. Keep bios specific: matter types, bar admissions, how they approach a case. Skip the list of hobbies unless it builds a real connection with the clients you want.

Can the site show our past verdicts and settlements?

That is a call for you and your ethics guidance, because results can mislead without context and the rules treat them carefully. If you do publish them, I design them with the context and disclaimers you approve, never as a promise of what a new client can expect. Plenty of firms do better leading with process instead of outcomes.

We already have a site from a legal marketing vendor. Do we have to start over?

Not always. I look at what you actually own first. Some vendor sites are locked into their platform, and leaving means rebuilding. Others just need new practice-area pages and proper intake wiring. I will tell you which, and if fixing beats rebuilding, I say so.

What comes after
