For law firms ยท Content design

Content design for firms that explain things.

Clients are stressed in a first meeting and forget what you said by the time they reach the parking lot. Well-designed guides do the explaining a second time.

The law firm version

Why it matters.

New estate planning clients leave your office with a list of documents to gather, a vague memory of what a health care proxy is, and a question they forgot to ask. If the follow-up is a plain email with a pile of attachments, pieces get lost. A designed checklist and a one-page process map answer the questions before they turn into phone calls your staff has to field.

Content design is for firms that already have something to say and no time to make it look right. You write or approve the substance. I turn it into templates, guides and newsletter layouts in your brand that your staff can reuse without calling me.

What I would build

For a law firm.

01Process guides per practice area

What happens after you hire us for a probate, a closing or a divorce. Designed as a clean PDF and a web graphic, so the same explanation works in an email and on the website.

02Intake and document checklists

Branded checklists for what to bring, what to sign and what to send. Templates your paralegals can adjust for each matter without breaking the layout.

03Newsletter design for referral sources

A clean email template for past clients and referring professionals. Changes in the law that affect them, firm news, a seminar invitation. Designed once, reused every issue.

04Seminar and workshop collateral

Estate planning seminars and community talks need flyers, slides and handouts. I design them in your brand, with print-ready files when you need paper on the table.

The mistake I see

Turning every explainer into a wall of legalese

Lawyers write precise, qualified and long. That is right for a brief and wrong for a client handout. A guide that hedges every sentence and cites statutes in the margin does not get read. The substance stays accurate and you approve it, but the layout uses headings, short steps and white space so a stressed person can follow along.

What you get

Content design.

For the business that has the posting handled but cannot stand making the posts.

  • Post and story graphics in your brand
  • Templates you can reuse without me
  • Case studies and before-and-after layouts
  • Email and newsletter design
  • Print collateral when you need it
Price. Single fixes start at $499. Monthly batches are quoted after a call.

How it goes

For a law firm, step by step.

→ Keep scrolling. It moves sideways.

  1. Set the templates

So everything after this is fast and consistent.

  2. Agree a batch

Monthly or per campaign, whichever suits how you work.

  3. Make it

Delivered as finished files, sized for where they are going.

  4. You publish

On your schedule, from your accounts.

  5. Step five is you.

The free Receipt shows what your law firm should fix first. About half a minute, no card.

Questions

What law firms ask.

Who writes the actual legal content?

You do, or you approve every word I write. I can draft plain-language versions from your notes, but anything describing law or procedure needs an attorney's review before it goes out. My part is structure, clarity and design. Accuracy belongs to you, and I would not want it any other way.

Can we use these templates without you after the first batch?

That is the point of building them. You get editable templates for checklists, guides and newsletters, so your staff can produce the next one on their own. You come back to me when there is a campaign or a seminar to design, not for every single handout.

Is content design different from social media management?

Yes. Content design delivers finished files and you publish or send them yourself. Social media management covers writing, scheduling and posting. If someone at the firm already handles posting and just hates making the graphics and handouts, content design is the better fit.

What comes after

Pairs well with.
