Content design for restaurants.

For the restaurant that posts its own stories but hates making the graphics. I build the menus, templates and flyers. You keep the accounts.

The restaurant version

Why it matters.

Plenty of owners like running their own Instagram. They know the regulars, they know the jokes, they post from the pass between tickets. What they lack is time to design a holiday party flyer, a wine dinner announcement or a new printed menu. Those pieces end up rushed, inconsistent and visibly homemade next to everything else.

Good templates solve that without taking the accounts away. You get files you can reuse without me, finished pieces sized for where they are going, and print work done properly by someone who knows what a printer needs. Your voice stays exactly where it is. The look just gets cleaner.

What I would build

For a restaurant.

01Specials and event templates

Post and story templates for specials, live music, wine dinners and closures. Your staff fills in the text from a phone and it still looks like your brand, every time.

02Printed menus and table pieces

Print collateral when you need it: menus, table tents, takeout inserts, gift card displays. Laid out for real paper and real printers, with a QR code that goes somewhere useful.

03Holiday and private party packets

A private party packet and holiday booking flyer people can forward to whoever organizes the office dinner. Clear on what is included, what it costs and how to book.

04Email that regulars open

Newsletter design for the list you already have: the new menu, upcoming events, the reduced winter hours. A clean layout that reads well on a phone and does not look like a coupon mailer.

The mistake I see

A different design every time someone has an idea

One flyer in a script font, the next in neon, the next made by a server's cousin. Each looks fine alone. Together they make the restaurant feel unsure of itself. A small set of templates used every time does more for how you look than any single great flyer.

How it goes

For a restaurant, step by step.

→ Keep scrolling. It moves sideways.

  1. Set the templates

So everything after this is fast and consistent.

  2. Agree a batch

Monthly or per campaign, whichever suits how you work.

  3. Make it

Delivered as finished files, sized for where they are going.

  4. You publish

On your schedule, from your accounts.

  5. Step five is you.

The free Receipt shows what your restaurant should fix first. About half a minute, no card.

Questions

What restaurants ask.

Can you redesign our menu without changing the dishes?

Yes, and it is a common request. Layout alone changes how a menu reads: what the eye lands on first, how prices sit, where the dishes you most want to sell appear. I work from your current menu and your brand rules, and deliver print-ready files plus a version for the website.

Do you work in monthly batches or one-offs?

Either. Restaurants with a monthly events calendar usually prefer a monthly batch. Others come to me per campaign: the summer menu, the holiday push, an anniversary dinner. Pricing is quoted after a call, based on whichever rhythm suits how you already work.

What if we do not have any brand guidelines?

Then the first templates set them informally. If the logo files are a mess or the fonts are unlicensed, I will say so, and a quick brand cleanup first may make sense, so every flyer and menu after that is consistent instead of patched together.

What comes after

Pairs well with.

The list is not everything. Not on it? Pick “a business not listed,” or run the free Receipt. It works for any business.

The Receipt looks your restaurant up the way a customer would and itemizes what is costing you calls. It is free. Or skip it and book fifteen minutes with me.
