For real estate agents ยท Social media management

Social media for real estate agents.

Agent feeds fill up with just-listed graphics and motivational quotes, and your sphere scrolls past both. Social works when it sounds like you and shows how you think.

The real estate brokerage version

Why it matters.

Your sphere is the audience that matters: old friends, past clients, people from the gym and the neighborhood. They need to see what you do often enough to remember it when someone asks for an agent. Listings help, but honest market notes, home tips and local observations keep you in mind without sounding like a billboard.

There are rules. Brokerage identification has to appear where required, listing details need seller permission, and fair housing rules apply to how you describe homes and neighborhoods. I write posts that describe homes, not the people who should buy them, and keep everything inside your brokerage's guidelines.

What I would build

For a real estate brokerage.

01A content system around listings and your market

Templates, voice and recurring themes built once: listings, sold stories, market notes, home tips and local spots. Designed in your brand and within brokerage requirements.

02Posts that sound like you

Posts written and designed in your voice, describing homes by features and location. No steering language, no claims about who a neighborhood suits, and no generic filler.

03One approval step that fits your schedule

One review, one tap, even from a parking lot between showings. I schedule and publish on your channels. Urgent listing news you can still post yourself.

04A monthly summary tied to conversations

What ran, what got engagement and whether any of it turned into messages from your sphere or listing appointments. Honest about what is and is not working.

The mistake I see

Posting nothing but listings and sold signs

A feed of just-listed and just-sold graphics shows activity but gives your sphere nothing to respond to. Agents who share useful local knowledge, candid market observations and a bit of personality give people a reason to stay connected. The listings land better when the rest of the feed earns attention.

Questions

What real estate agents ask.

What does social media management cost for an agent?

Agents pay the same published rate: $499 setup, your first month free, then from $499/month. The 90-day agreement can be cancelled any time after it ends. That includes the content system, posts written and designed, scheduling, one approval step and a monthly summary. Listing photos come from your photographer.

Can you post about neighborhoods without breaking fair housing rules?

Yes, by describing places, not people. Parks, commute options, local businesses, architecture and events are fine. Statements about who lives in an area or who it is good for are not. I keep neighborhood content factual and feature-focused, and I am careful with school language, pointing people to official sources rather than ranking schools myself.

Should I be on TikTok or Instagram?

Wherever your likely clients spend time and you enjoy creating. Instagram and Facebook usually reach a local sphere well. TikTok and Reels can reach new buyers if you are comfortable on camera. Pick one or two and post consistently rather than spreading yourself across every platform.

What comes after

Pairs well with.
