For remodelers and home improvement contractors ยท Social media management

Social media that shows a remodel as it happens.

A remodel takes weeks, which means weeks of material: demo, framing, rough-in, tile, the reveal. Most remodelers post the reveal once and nothing in between.

The remodeling company version

Why it matters.

Homeowners following a remodeler online are mostly planning their own project and watching how you work. A demo day post, a framing shot of the new opening, a tile layout before grout, a finished space with the homeowner's choices explained. That sequence shows organization and craft in a way a single reveal photo cannot. It also gives a past client something to share, which is how referrals travel.

The system gets built once in your brand: templates, voice, recurring themes. I write and design posts from your project photos, you approve with one tap, and it publishes. Pricing is public: $499 setup, your first month free, then from $499/month, under a 90-day agreement you can cancel any time after. The monthly summary covers what ran and what moved.

What I would build

For a remodeling company.

01A project series format

Templates for demo, progress, decisions and reveal, so one remodel becomes a story told across several weeks instead of one photo and done. Anyone on the crew can feed it.

02Captions in your voice

I write captions that sound like you talking a homeowner through the work. Why the wall moved, why that tile, what turned up behind the old vanity.

03One approval step

You see each post before it runs. One tap approves it, and it schedules and publishes on your channels. No committee and no back and forth.

04A monthly summary of what moved

What ran, what got attention, and whether any of it showed up in inquiries. If a format is not pulling its weight, I change it.

The mistake I see

Posting only the reveal

Remodelers often wait until a project is perfect, post a single beauty shot, and go silent for a month. That hides the most convincing part of the business: the organized process, the clean site, the problems solved along the way. Homeowners nervous about a remodel want to see that middle. Progress posts also keep the feed alive between finished jobs.

Questions

What remodelers and home improvement contractors ask.

Will my clients be okay with their homes on social media?

Ask at kickoff or in the contract, and respect the answer. Many homeowners are happy to have their project shared, especially without the address or faces. Some are not, and their projects stay private. I never post anything that identifies a home without permission, and close-ups of the craftsmanship work fine either way.

Which platform matters most for remodelers?

Instagram and Facebook both work, because the work is visual and people save ideas there. Pinterest can help if your work is design-led. I would rather run one or two channels well than spread thin. Your Google profile photos and posts matter too, because that is where someone lands after searching your name.

What if I have no project photos yet?

Start taking them on every current job, from demo onward. I give your lead carpenter or project manager a simple shot list that takes a few minutes a day. Until the photos build up, posts can explain your process, answer common planning questions and introduce the team. The free first month shows whether the system works for you.

What comes after
