For auto repair shops ยท Websites & funnels
Websites for auto repair shops.
A repair shop website gets checked by someone standing next to a car that will not start. It has to load fast, show the hours and the phone number, and let them book without a lecture.

You vs. John Doe Repair.
Left is your website today. Right is the one John Doe Repair has. Drag the line, then hit the button.
Crickets on the left. That is the problem.

The auto repair shop version
Why it matters.
Halfway to work, a driver hears a grinding noise and pulls into a parking lot. On their phone, they search for brake repair, find your site and need a few answers right away: are you open, can you see the car today, and are you honest. If the site is slow, buries the hours and shows only a stock photo of a wrench, they call the next shop.
Your site also serves the long-time customer who just needs to book an oil change, check whether you inspect, or see if you work on their make. Clear service pages and an online booking calendar handle those without a phone call, which frees your service writer for the customers who need an explanation.
What I would build
For an auto repair shop.
Brakes, diagnostics, inspections, tires, alignments, AC, and the makes you specialize in. Mobile-first, because the person reading is usually in a parking lot or a driveway.
A booking calendar wired to your real availability for routine services, so customers book what fits, while diagnosis-heavy work still comes through a call or a form.
Year, make, model, the symptom, when it started. The form creates a contact and fires a reply right away, so the driver knows you received it while they are still deciding.
Your service writer is with a customer at the counter when the phone rings. Missed-call text back replies, so the caller is not left to try the next shop on the map.
The mistake I see
Listing every service in one long paragraph
Plenty of shop websites cram brakes, exhaust, tires, suspension, electrical, diagnostics and more into a single block on the home page. Google cannot tell what you are best at, and customers cannot find the thing they need. A page per service lets you explain the process, show photos and match what people actually search.
What you get
Websites & funnels.
Built in GoHighLevel so your site, forms, calendar, texts and follow-up are one system instead of five tools taped together.
- Mobile-first pages, because that is where your customer is standing
- Booking calendar wired to your real availability
- Forms that create a contact and fire a reply immediately
- Missed-call text back
- Tracking so you know which page produced the inquiry
How it goes
For an auto repair shop, step by step.
→ Keep scrolling. It moves sideways.
Map the path
What somebody does between finding you and booking. Usually shorter than people expect.
Build the pages
One page per service, one per town you serve. Not one page trying to do everything.
Wire the follow-up
Auto-acknowledgement, reminders, and the sequence that runs when nobody replies.
Test it on a phone
On mobile data, not office wifi. That is the real condition.
Step five is you.

Questions
What auto repair shops ask.
Should I show prices for common services?
For predictable work like oil changes and tire swaps, yes, or at least a starting range. It removes a reason to call another shop. For diagnosis and repairs, explain how estimates work and that nothing happens without approval. Honesty about the process sells better than a vague price list.
Do I need online booking if I am always busy?
Especially then. Online booking lets customers grab an open slot without tying up your phone. You control what is bookable, like oil changes and tire swaps, and keep diagnosis and complex repairs on a call. It also cuts the calls that only ask whether you have time this week.
Should my website explain the waiting room and loaners?
Yes. Customers want to know whether to wait, drop off or arrange a ride before they arrive. Say whether you have a waiting room, wifi, a shuttle, loaners or a rental place nearby. It answers a question people hesitate to call about, and nobody gets surprised at the counter.
