For flooring contractors ยท Websites & funnels
Flooring websites that book the measure.
Most flooring customers need two appointments before they buy: a look at samples and a measure at home. Your site should book both without anyone picking up a phone.

What I would build
For a flooring company.
Hardwood, engineered, luxury vinyl, tile, carpet and refinishing, plus pages for basements, kitchens and bathrooms. Each one explains the trade-offs plainly, so the customer arrives already halfway decided.
A booking calendar for both appointments, wired to your real availability. The customer picks a time instead of waiting for a callback that may come a day too late.
The measure request asks which rooms, rough size, current floor and timeline. It creates a contact and fires an immediate reply, so the customer knows the request landed somewhere real.
Galleries of actual installed floors in real homes, sized to load quickly on a phone. Manufacturer photos look nice but tell a customer nothing about your installers.
The flooring company version
Why it matters.
A homeowner with a dog, small kids and a basement that gets damp is trying to choose a floor. They open your site on a phone at night. If they find a product list and a phone number, they keep searching. If they find a page explaining which floors handle moisture and which survive claws, plus a way to book a showroom visit and another to request a measure, you have a customer.
I build pages by material and by room, so the customer lands on the question they actually have. Every form creates a contact and answers instantly. The booking calendar shows real showroom and measure slots. Missed calls get a text back. Tracking shows which pages produced booked measures, not just traffic that looked nice in a report.
The mistake I see
A website that is really a product catalog
Flooring sites often import manufacturer catalogs: endless SKUs, stock room shots, no advice. Customers can browse the same catalog on the manufacturer's site or at a big-box store. What they cannot get there is your judgment about which product fits their house and how you will install it. A site built around advice and booking does more than a site built around inventory.
How it goes
For a flooring company, step by step.
→ Keep scrolling. It moves sideways.
Map the path
What somebody does between finding you and booking. Usually shorter than people expect.
Build the pages
One page per service, one per town you serve. Not one page trying to do everything.
Wire the follow-up
Auto-acknowledgement, reminders, and the sequence that runs when nobody replies.
Test it on a phone
On mobile data, not office wifi. That is the real condition.

Questions
What flooring contractors ask.
Should I put product prices on my flooring website?
Material prices without installation can mislead, because the real cost includes prep, subfloor work, trim and removing the old floor. If you list anything, say clearly what is and is not included. Many flooring companies do better explaining what drives the installed price and booking a measure, so the customer gets a real figure.
Do I need an online room visualizer?
Some manufacturers offer visualizers you can link to, and customers enjoy playing with them. They are a nice extra, not a foundation. The pages that actually earn the measure answer practical questions about durability, moisture, noise and upkeep. I would build those first and add a visualizer link if your suppliers offer one.
Can the site handle both walk-ins and appointments?
Yes. The site can show walk-in hours and offer appointments for customers who want dedicated time with someone. Some people want to browse alone, others are planning a whole house and need help. Making both options clear means nobody shows up expecting one and getting the other.
What comes after
Pairs well with.
People search hardwood floor refinishing near me, or flooring store plus a town.
Usually nextFlooring content that helps customers choose.Customers ask the same questions every week: which floor for a basement, which survives a dog, how to clean it.
