For auto detailers and car washes ยท Social media management
Social media for auto detailers.
Detailing is one of the few trades where social media can genuinely book work. The transformation is visual, the customer is scrolling anyway, and a good before-and-after needs no explanation.

The detailing shop version
Why it matters.
Picture a post of a minivan interior: crushed snacks and salt stains on the left, spotless on the right. A parent with the same minivan sees it and messages to ask about price. If the post links to clear packages and booking, they book that night. That is social doing real work, and few trades get such a direct line from a post to a booking.
The catch is consistency. Detailers are slammed in season, and posting stops exactly when it matters most. Social management keeps the before-and-afters, package spotlights and seasonal reminders going while you are buried in work, so the feed does not go silent through the spring rush.
What I would build
For a detailing shop.
Recurring themes built once in your brand: before-and-after pairs, package spotlights, product and process explainers, seasonal reminders. The photos already on your phone become a steady feed.
Captions in your voice, plain and specific, not hype. I write and design each post, schedule it on your channels, and you approve it in one step.
Salt removal in spring, coatings before summer, protection before winter. Scheduled ahead so the posts land before demand peaks, not after you are booked out.
What ran, what drew messages, what changes next month. Pricing is $499 setup, your first month free, then from $499/month, on a 90-day agreement you can cancel after.
The mistake I see
Posting only the shiny after shots
A feed of glossy finished cars looks good and teaches nothing. Every detailer has those. The posts that book work show the before, the process and the after, with a short line about what was done. Without the before, the post is a nice car. With it, the post is proof you can fix the mess in their driveway.

Questions
What auto detailers and car washes ask.
Instagram or TikTok for detailing?
Both can work, because detailing is visual and satisfying to watch. Instagram tends to suit local before-and-afters and booking links. TikTok can reach more people, but a lot of that audience is not local or ready to book. Start where your local customers are, usually Instagram and Facebook, and test TikTok if you enjoy video.
Do I need to post every day?
No. Consistency beats volume. A few strong before-and-afters a week, with clear captions and links, will do more than daily filler. The system is built so posts keep coming during your busiest weeks, which is exactly when detailers tend to go quiet.
Can I post customers' cars?
Usually, with permission. Plenty of customers love seeing their car transformed, especially with the plate blurred. Ask at booking so it is not awkward later, and keep anything personal inside the car out of frame. Coating customers are often happy to be featured, which also makes strong social proof.
What comes after
Pairs well with.
A detailing site has one job: show the work and let people book.
Usually nextContent design for auto detailers. If you already post your own before-and-afters but hate making them look good, content design gives you templates and layouts that make every transformation look as clean as the car.
