The detailing shop version
Why it matters.
You finish a full interior on a family SUV and take your before-and-after photos. Then you spend far too long on your phone lining them up, adding text and fighting with an app. Or you post them raw and they look like everyone else's. Templates built in your brand let you drop in the photos, add the package name and post quickly.
Coating customers also need something to take home. A clean aftercare card explaining how to wash, what to avoid and when to come back protects your work and your reputation. A customer who ruins a coating with the wrong soap blames the detailer, not the soap.
What I would build
For a detailing shop.
Templates for side-by-side and swipe-style before-and-afters, built in your brand so you can swap photos, package names and text yourself in minutes without breaking the design.
A clear, designed package menu for your site, social and print, so customers see the same tiers and descriptions everywhere they look, and nobody gets confused at checkout.
A printed or digital card that explains care after a coating or correction, in plain language. Print collateral delivered as finished files, sized and ready for the printer.
Email and newsletter design for seasonal reminders and maintenance offers, so your messages to past customers look as polished as the work they paid you for.
The mistake I see
Before-and-afters with different angles
A before shot taken from the side in a dark garage and an after shot from the front in sunlight do not prove anything. Customers notice. The comparison has to match: same angle, same distance, similar light. Templates help, but the habit matters more. Shoot the before exactly the way you will shoot the after.

Questions
What auto detailers and car washes ask.
Can I use these templates in Canva?
Yes, if Canva is where you work. I build the templates there so you can edit them without me. You get the layouts, the brand rules and worked examples. Prefer to send raw photos and get finished posts back instead? That works too, as a monthly batch or per campaign.
Do coating customers really need an aftercare card?
Yes. Plenty of coating complaints trace back to wash habits after the job: harsh soaps, dirty mitts, the wrong kind of car wash. A card sets expectations in writing and gives you something to point to if there is a problem. It also makes the coating feel like a serious product, which supports the price.
Should my price sheet list exact prices?
Starting prices by vehicle size and package work well. Exact prices can trap you when the car shows up with heavy pet hair or deep scratches. List what is included and what can raise the price. The design should make that calm and clear, so the conversation about extras never feels like an ambush.
