For mortgage brokers ยท Websites & funnels
Mortgage broker websites built for pre-approval.
A buyer with an offer to write tonight needs a broker who responds fast. Your website collects the basics and gets a human on it immediately.

You vs. Joe Schmo Mortgage.
Left is your website today. Right is the one Joe Schmo Mortgage has. Drag the line, then hit the button.
Crickets on the left. That is the problem.

What you are paying for
Websites & funnels.
Built in GoHighLevel so your site, forms, calendar, texts and follow-up are one system instead of five tools taped together.
- Mobile-first pages, because that is where your customer is standing
- Booking calendar wired to your real availability
- Forms that create a contact and fire a reply immediately
- Missed-call text back
- Tracking so you know which page produced the inquiry

What I would build
For a mortgage brokerage.
Name, contact details, purchase or refinance, timeline and the realtor they are working with. Sensitive financial details go into your secure application, never into a website form.
First-time buyers, move-up buyers, self-employed borrowers, refinance, and the loan types you actually offer. Each explains the process and what to gather, without stating rates or terms.
NMLS ID, state licensing information and fair housing language in the footer of every page, plus a link where borrowers can verify your license through NMLS Consumer Access.
A tracked link each realtor partner can share, so you know which partner sent which borrower and can thank them properly, within the rules on what thanks can look like.
The mortgage brokerage version
Why it matters.
A couple finds a house on Saturday and their realtor says they need a pre-approval letter before they can write an offer. They reach your site from the realtor's text. If the form asks for their life history and promises a call back sometime next week, they keep searching. A short form, an immediate text back and a booking link for a same-day call keep them with you.
I build in GoHighLevel so intake, booking and follow-up are one system. The application itself stays in your secure loan origination system. The website handles first contact, the calendar, missed-call text back and the tracking that shows whether an inquiry came from a realtor's link, a search or a past client.
The mistake I see
A rate ticker on the homepage
Live rate widgets look impressive and cause problems. They show rates the visitor may not qualify for, they can trigger disclosure requirements, and they invite rate shoppers who leave for a number a few basis points lower. Take it down. Sell responsiveness, local expertise and a clear process instead.
How it goes
For a mortgage brokerage, step by step.
→ Keep scrolling. It moves sideways.
Map the path
What somebody does between finding you and booking. Usually shorter than people expect.
Build the pages
One page per service, one per town you serve. Not one page trying to do everything.
Wire the follow-up
Auto-acknowledgement, reminders, and the sequence that runs when nobody replies.
Test it on a phone
On mobile data, not office wifi. That is the real condition.
Step five is you.

Questions
What mortgage brokers ask.
Can borrowers upload documents through the website?
They should use your loan origination system or a secure portal for that. The website links to it clearly. I do not build document uploads into a marketing site, because borrower financial data needs the security and retention controls your lending systems already provide.
Do we need a page for every loan program?
For the ones you actually do and want more of, yes. A first-time buyer searching for down payment help wants a page that speaks to them. Keep the pages general about process. Program details change, and specific terms belong in a conversation, not on a page that might be out of date.
Should the site have a mortgage calculator?
A calculator can be useful, but it needs careful disclaimers and should never read like an offer. Plenty of brokers get more from a simple what-to-expect page and fast call booking. If you want one, your compliance contact should review it before it goes live.
