For mortgage brokers ยท Content design
Content design for mortgage brokers and their realtors.
Borrowers drown in paperwork they do not understand. Clear guides walk them through it, keep deals moving and make you the broker realtors recommend.

What I would build
For a mortgage brokerage.
Pre-approval to closing: what to gather and why, and what not to do before closing, like opening new credit. Designed as a PDF and a web graphic, with no rates or terms.
Open house flyers and buyer guides featuring both you and the agent, built so cost-sharing and placement fit how your compliance contact wants co-marketing handled.
An email template that keeps past clients in touch: seasonal home notes, market commentary without rates, and an invitation to call before they buy or sell again.
Business cards, signs and flyers with a designed place for the NMLS ID, licensing lines and fair housing logo, sized for wherever they are going.
The mortgage brokerage version
Why it matters.
First-time buyers get a list of documents to send: bank statements, pay stubs, tax returns, a letter explaining a deposit. They have no idea why you need any of it, and they panic. A designed one-page guide explaining each step, from pre-approval to closing, cuts the anxious calls and the delays. Realtors notice when their buyers show up organized.
Content design suits brokers who already have marketing ideas and need them to look professional and compliant. I set templates once, then deliver batches: a spring buyer campaign, open house materials for realtor partners, a past-client newsletter. Every template has a set place for licensing and fair housing information.
The mistake I see
Putting payment examples on a flyer
A flyer showing a sample monthly payment on a typical home looks helpful. It can also trigger detailed disclosure requirements, and it goes stale the moment rates move. I design materials that sell the process and the person, and leave numbers to the conversation where you can attach the right disclosures.

Questions
What mortgage brokers ask.
Who checks the content for compliance?
Your compliance contact or sponsoring company, before anything goes out. I design with the rules in mind and keep figures out entirely, which removes a lot of the risk. Final sign-off still belongs to whoever is responsible for advertising under your license.
Can you make co-branded materials for each of our realtor partners?
Yes. I build a template where the agent's name, photo and branding drop in, so each partner gets a version without starting from scratch. How the cost gets shared is a compliance question for you to settle before the first one goes out.
Do we need a newsletter?
For past clients and realtors, it is one of the more useful things a broker can send, as long as it is short and genuinely useful. A monthly rate recap is not that. A seasonal note with something practical, and a clear way to reach you, is.
What comes after
Pairs well with.
